Vocabulary Puzzle

Have students cut up this puzzle and put it back together, identifying Latin and English words.

Use this document to set up a before and after activity. Students cut out the sentences and determine whether they were true BEFORE Chapter 4 or AFTER Chapter 4.

Vocabulary List for Free Write

Help support students with barriers by supplying this simple vocabulary list when doing a free or timed write.

In this game, you can quiz your students on their knowledge of the chapters by translating for them. Make sure you mess up a little so they can call you stultus/a and correct you! Fun all around.

Chapter 1.

This includes 20 sentences that one can do as a scrambled eggs dictation. 17 of the sentences are about gods and goddesses from the Gods Organised unit (see previous units), 3 of the sentences contain commands for students to carry out.
